GarlicSim 0.6.2 released!

I’m pleased to announce the release of GarlicSim 0.6.2! (Installation.)

This is a small release. Changes:

  • Testing and packaging architecture revamped; much more automatic now. The run_tests.py script runs the tests and the make_distribution.py script creates a distribution.
  • General improvements, bug-fixes, and test cases.
  • The garlicsim package is now mature enough to be classified as beta!

One sad thing that I have to report is that I decided to postpone the deadline for the release of the mature, polished and newbie-friendly version of GarlicSim by 1 year. (Possibly this will be called “GarlicSim 1.0”, but not sure.) So now the deadline for this mature version of GarlicSim is January 1st, 2014 instead of 2013. Yeah, it sucks, but I have to be realistic with my deadlines, since GarlicSim is an unfunded open-source project and I have to spend time doing contract projects in order to support it.

Go on and install GarlicSim 0.6.2!
